An Essay For You

Thank you for everything. You taught me many things that I can use when I become adult someday. Thank you for your consideration. In class, when we are so noisy, thank you that you are not easily annoyed, you just lectured us and smile after.  Thank you for the happy moments and happy class with you. Thank you for making the subject interesting when it’s boring. Thank you for making the lesson easy when it’s hard. I consider you as my second mother.  I value, respect and treat you like my parents. All the support you gave me helped me get to who and what I am today. I could have never done this without you. Also without you, I will not know what I knew now. Thank you for all the advices you had given to me, to us. I understand the times that you are angry at us, it’s our fault and we’re sorry for that. Thank you for being understanding.

When I graduate, I will not forget our times together. I hope you will not forget me either.  I hope the best future for you and more success to come. I know that words are not enough but I hope you will appreciate my letter for you.
I love you. Thank you very much, teahers!

The Person I Want to Meet

One day, I was walking on my way home when I bumped someone.

Me: Ouch!
Andres: I’m so sorry, miss.
Me: It’s okay. Wait, Is that you Andres Bonifacio? *surprised*
Andres: Yeah. *shy* How did you know me?
Me: I know you since elementary because you are so famous.
Andres: Ahh. *speechless*
Me: Can I ask you some things?
Andres: Yeah, sure.
Me: Why did you fight for our country?
Andres: If I will not do it, who will? I love our country so much that’s why I sacrificed my life only to get the freedom we deserved.
Me: If it will happen again, will you sacrifice your life again?
Andres: If it will happen again, I will sacrifice my life again and fight for our country.
Me: You know what, you are my favorite hero.
Andres: Seriously? I am flattered.
Me: Yes. You are so brave to face all the invaders of our country. If I was born early, I would do the same thing you did.
Andres: Nice to hear that. If you listened to the people, you would know their cries and worries. That inspires me to fight our enemies.
Me: What an excellent person you are!
Andres: *chuckles* Wait, How did you know the things I did in the past?
Me: I have watched some of your movies and read things about you.
Andres: I hope it’s all good.
Me: It’s all good.
Andres: It’s getting late already. I need to go.
Me: Me, too. Thanks for your time. Goodbye.
Andres: Welcome. Goodbye.

The Truly Great

There are many people whom I considered great. I considered farmers and fishermen as great people because they do hard work to sustain our needs. Also, I considered doctors as great people because they help people, monitor people's health, prevent and cure illnesses. I considered Dr. Jose P. Rizal and Andres Bonifacio as great people because they are very brave to fight the invaders, made our eyes open and fight our rights in our own country.   I considered Ferdinand E. Marcos as great also because he is a good former president and has the best management in our country. Same as Marcos, Miriam Defensor Santiago is also a good female senator and correct corruption ways of other officials. I admire Henry Sy for being an industrious and now, the richest person in the Philippines. I considered Vic Sotto for being great because he helps other people especially those who are poor. In my relatives, I considered my Aunt Onie and Naida, Uncle Jun and Vin, my grandfather and grandmothers as great people because they help our other relatives in their studies and needs even though they have their own families now. They did not forget us. Lastly, I considered my brother, father and mother  as great people because they help me in my studies, took care of me and protect me since I was born.

Coping With Challenges

The video shows how to cope up with challenges. In this video, the man felt a searing pain in his leg while he is running in a race. He did not give up instead he still runs even if he knows he will not win. The man chose to continue the race. He was helped by his father and told him that it’s okay and he does not need to continue the race but he said he do. They run together and before the finish line, his father let him go and he finished the race himself and he receives a standing ovation from 65,000 people after that.

Never giving up will make you has the success. It will never fail you. Believe in yourself and stay positive all the time. No challenges in life can destroy you and no pain can break your dreams. Always remember that you have your family beside you. They will not leave you even if the world will hate and leave you.

The Legacy I Want to Leave Behind

What is legacy? Legacy is a trademark that you will leave behind when you die and it is what people will remember you. This legacy will never be forgotten and it will mark in people’s minds forever.
I want them to know me as a good and kind-hearted person. I want to be remembered like Ferdinand Marcos that even though he died many years ago, people still recognize him and respect him. So, I want to be remembered as a politician who changes our country into a progressive one. I want our country to be rich that everyone will not experience lacking of needs and no foreign countries will invade us again. Never will I corrupt people’s money that politicians nowadays do and I will focus on improving our products to have high quality and in that case, many people will buy it instead of foreign products. I will teach and encourage Filipinos to buy our own products to have high economic.

This is the legacy I want to leave behind. I hope this will come true and our country, Philippines, will soon be a progressive country.

The Man Who I Admire The Most

Many problems had come in his life. Many hindrances had blocked his way but he still managed to overcome it. All of the hardships he faced were worth it because he finally achieved what he really wants to be.

First, he went in Emilio Aguinaldo College (EAC) in Manila, rented a boarding house and stayed there for four years but he visits his family twice a month. He took up RadTech as his course. Then, he study hard and every semester, he received high grades. He was downloading applications that will help him in his study. He was a bookworm and nocturnal when they have tests the next day. Next, he graduated because of his hard work. After few months, he took up the Board Examination in Radiology, he passed and was able to get the 4th place. Their summa cum laude placed in 3rd and it was only in a difference of points. Because of that little percentage of his tuition was returned. Finally, he works in Makati Medical Clinic and he received good salary but before he works in St. Luke's Hospital.

I really admire this person because of his intelligence and being a responsible, industrious and ring-rich man. I also like him for not being a motor-mouth person because he thinks first before he speaks. In additional, he is also an environmentalist that made me like him more. He inspires me a lot to do my best every time and to believe in myself that I can do it no matter what the outcome will be. He is Justin Reden B. Bautista and I am proud that he is my brother.

My Three Years in High School

My first year of being a high school student,
Is very hard especially that I have new classmates and new teachers.
Only few are my friends,
Only few are my close,
And most of them are strangers.
But one year had passed and I adapt.
Since then, all of them became my friends.
They turned to be not strangers anymore.
We clicked and we thought that we are the best section.
And then, my second year in high school came.
It is very fun especially that we came along with each other.
Yet we have differences, similarities are where we focused on.
We smile and laugh together, we frown and face our problems together.
Because we are one for all and all for one.
Another year had passed.
Classmates, teachers. also the section changed.
Only one of my former classmate is left.
On our two weeks there, we are both sad.
We are not talking much like before.
But we are both trying our best to adapt,
To be together with them,
To come along with them,
And to be close with them.
Hoping someday that this new section is what we want and what it should be.

My First Week of Being a Junior High School Student

Being a junior high school student is really hard for me especially that I have new classmates, new teachers and new environment. My new classmates have different likes and they have groupings or circle of friends that's why I am adjusting so I can come along with them. On the other hand, my new teachers are kind and are really good in teaching but most of them are strict.
On my first day, I am not talking too much like I used to. On my second day, I did have some new friends. On my third to fifth day, my list of new friends increased. My new classmates are funny to be with and they easily laugh on something. I can say that my new classmates are kind and noisy, too. In additional, all of them are talented. Some are good in dancing, some are in singing and some are in acting.
Overall, my first week is not a boring one. Most of the people said that high school life is the best part in student's life. Well, I agree because meeting new friends, new teachers and new environment are great experiences that a junior high school student like me has.
